Antique Copper Mold Floral Top Castellations 19th Cent French Mould. For sale is a wonderful French Copper Mold in a design of 6 castellations with floral tops.
The mold has surface hammering on the upper section, smooth copper on the base; made from a substantial gauge of copper and heavy. 1/4" tall by 4" diameter at the top, 5 diameter at the base.The mold is in very nice condition with character from age and use; I note the mold is slightly out of round and has a couple of. Shallow dents or dings along top edge (see photos) but not severe or noticeable. Interior tin lining has wear and has darkened from use. I believe the mold is circa 1880 period.
It has been hand polished, and has patina left in some of the hammering. Last photo shows some of the copper molds I have listed; this listing is for the taller mold shown on the back right.
